Need for Speed 2 was released firstly in 1997, belonging to the family of Need for Speed (NFS) series. So, it was following the trace of Road & Track Presents: the Need for Speed, the first game in the family.
Just like its sibling, the Need for Speed 2 allows drivers playing race either against human opponents AI-controlled opponents.
The second edition of the game also includes Need for Speed 2 SE, which was firstly released in the United States on 1997 (November 6). This special edition carries new style of driving “wild”, 3-bonus cars, 4-extra cars, and an extra track. Please download here if you want to play the game once again.
